This was my 12th year in a row going to the Torch Lake Sandbar on July 4th - since we keep our boat on Torch, it works out great! This year I got out around noon and pulled my anchor up around 6pm.

The crowd felt lighter than years past, certainly smaller than I had expected - it was a beautiful, although as you’ll see in the video, cloudy day and I had a blast!
