SSX Tricky Vs. SSX 3: Obvious King of the Hill or Dueling Peaks?

The SSX series is dearly beloved by so many different people. I totally missed the series when I was growing up, but the tricks and the sense of speed made it high on my list of games to check out.

To make this video, I researched which game was most beloved in the series, and it turned out there wasn't a definitive answer. Most answered SSX Tricky or SSX 3 so me being a lunatic, I marathoned through the career mode of one character per game in a single day. I had an excellent time.

But this begs the question, is there a definitive best game in the series? Or are these two games match each other on the peak?
