Remember that classic song SWV “Rain”? Well here is my Acapella arrangement which is the first single from my Acapella album which I plan to release sometime this decade. This idea came a few months back but took over two weeks to record. I worked on it a few hours a day (rest of my time goes to work and family). I just streamed this video live last night but wanted to also upload it.

Shout out to Brian Alexander Morgan for producing and writing this beautiful song for SWV. The wonderful melody was brought to our ears through the amazing musician Jaco Pastorius "Portrait of Tracy."

My arrangement (which I hope to publish and release officially) uses reharmonization and I added an additional vamp near the end. It also only used my voice for all sounds including drums, and sound effects with the exception of my finger snaps and thunder at the end. I love Jazz chords, harmony and music theory.
