What If The Black Album Were Created Today | It's Not As Simple As A Copypaste (Or Maybe Yes?)

As Metallica fans, we've all wanted to make our guitars sound like their albums. Some have gone further and recreated entire albums almost identical to the original tone. Recently, I've been pondering something that perhaps others have also thought about: what if Metallica's albums were created today with the same equipment? Would they sound the same, or would there be differences? In this short video, I'll tell you how I tried to recreate the tone of the Black Album almost entirely (except for the clean tones), but with a more modern twist. Of course, I don't have access to everything that was used on that album, but with the help of some plugins and a bit of creativity, you can achieve something quite interesting.
