AM5 Might not be setting the World on fire in terms of sales right now, but the prices are dropping a little and now for those looking to build a brand new Gaming PC the AM5 platform is looking a little more attractive.

There are a few boards on the market right now that are under £200 (Jan 2023) but they are Micro ATX or even more limited on features than the B650 would normally be.
So this makes the MSI B650 Tomahawk Wifi a sensible choice now for ANY 7000 series CPU.
Some premium features are present like 2.5GB LAN, Premium ALC4080 audio chipset, 17 phase VRM setup 14+2+1 with 80 AMP chokes for great power delivery. Support for up to 6600mt/s DDR5 RAM and 3 PCIe Gen 4 m.2 slots.

There is a lot to like here and with a ton of fan headers and more USBs than you are likely to ever need, this ticks the right boxes for me, and that is ultimately why I SPENT MY OWN MONEY on it 👍
