We take our homes for granted. We have living rooms, kitchen, bathrooms & bedrooms. Unfortunately, for millions of families owning a piece of land is a dream never mind build a house on top of that.

Importance of Shelter
Shelter protects you from the sun, insects, wind, rain, snow and hot or cold temperatures. It also gives you a feeling of being safe. In some parts of the world, your need for shelter may take precedence over your need for food and possibly even your need for water.

U4H’s Build a Shelter Programme
Unite 4 Humanity are proud to be able to initiate significant and enriching changes in the lives of so many of the World’s poor communities. Over the years we have provided these people either with temporary shelters or permanent housing.

Through our Shelter Programme we are building houses for widows, poor & needy families and families in which the main breadwinner has life-long illness or disability.
