This historic sparkling wine region in northern France is widely adored around the globe, and its wines hold deep associations with celebrations and gourmet cuisine. As one of three finalists for the UK Champagne Ambassador Competition in 2018, and a lover of fine bubbles, Lauren Denyer DipWSET has a particular fascination with Champagne. In this one-hour webinar recording, Lauren provides an in-depth overview of the region and its subregions, the 'traditional method' of sparkling wine production, and what makes premier cru and grand cru wines so special. She also explores the different styles of Champagne produced, including rosé and prestige cuvées.
