Let's talk about the limitations of home inspections and there are several. The first and most prominent limitation is that if it turns out that the inspector missed something and if it was not as comprehensive as it should have been. What you find to your disappointment is there is no recourse against the inspector themselves.I've seen some home inspectors limit their liability to the cost of the inspection which means you are entitled to nothing more than a refund of whatever you paid the inspector.
I've also seen home inspectors not taking financial or legal responsibility for things that they were not able to inspect. That's a lot in many cases. A lot of parts of the home that an inspector can't get right in close look at.So the inspector will not take necessarily with those areas of the home.
