Losing a parent is never easy, but losing them while living abroad adds another layer of pain and helplessness. I recently lost my mother, and the heartbreak of not being there in her final moments is something I am still learning to carry.

In this video, I share my personal journey of living abroad for 40 years, the emotions of receiving that dreaded phone call, and how I coped with grief from a distance. While I couldn’t be there physically, I thank my incredible brothers and sisters for their unwavering love, support, and teamwork in caring for our mother in her last days.
This video is for anyone who has experienced the pain of losing a loved one while being far away. You are not alone. Grief is universal, and together, we can support and uplift each other.
