Blessed Julia Rodzinska was a Polish nun who was unjustly imprisoned in the Stutthof concentration camp by the Germans. While in captivity she cared for the sick and the dying, offering love and mercy in a place where mercy never existed. She died after having contracted Typhus. She was beatified by Saint Pope John Paul II in Warsaw, Poland.
