The IONIQ 5 is a quirky-cool retro-futuristic new electric SUV/Hatchback from Hyundai. Unlike past EVs from the brand, The IONIQ 5 is the first car they’ve released on their new e-GMP platform. Instead of retrofitting an existing design to be electric, Hyundai worked with their sister companies, Kia and Genesis to develop a new platform specifically for their electric vehicles.
