Memorial honoring Buffalo mass shooting victims opens two years later

On May 14, 2022, 10 Black people were killed and three others were hurt in a racially-motivated mass shooting at a Buffalo grocery store.

Two years later, a new place of reflection and remembrance is being built in honor of the victims.

The 5/14 Memorial design was unveiled Monday, and will be located outside of the Tops Friendly Market on Jefferson Avenue in Buffalo.
