In this calculus video I am gonna show you what are the power series and how to we can find the radius of convergence and the interval of convergence of a power series using the ratio test.

If the limit of the ratio test is zero, the power series converges for all values of x.

If the limit is infinity, the power series converges only at a single point (at the centre point ).
Otherwise, the radius of convergence is a nonzero number and the series of converges is an interval. In this case you have to check the endpoints of the interval separately.
