Usually when new update for BMS drops, I start a new campaing and get into a simple BARCAP mission to reacquaint myself with the Viper (since I usually don't fly BMS non-stop).

So with the 4.38 finally coming out I had to jump right in. Note that I'm using 4k textures (8k and 16k are also available, but you will need GPU with more than 8GB VRAM for those options). I do get occasional stutters here and there, but overall the game runs fine. I'm running the game from NVMe drive, my GPU is RTX4060 (8GB VRAM) I have 64GB RAM the only bottlenecking part might be the CPU - i5 6600K 3.5GHz (3.9GHz boost) - the stutters seems to happen when CPU is maxed out.

Few notes on game configuration:
To transfer your HOTAS bindings from 4.37 - copy your xml files (they should have a name and device ID of your controller/s) from:
..\Falcon BMS 4.37\User\Config folder to
..\Falcon BMS 4.38\User\Config

I also disabled the new ring comm menu, since I prefer the clean classic one, to do this go to ..\Falcon BMS 4.38\User\Config
and add this line:
set g_bRingCommMenu 0
before //LAUNCHER OVERRIDES ... line

If you're using EZBOARDS, to get it working with 4.38, you'll need to edit two BAT files - CONFIG.BAT and EZWATCH.BAT - in both rerplace:
SET REGPATH="HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Benchmark Sims\Falcon BMS 4.37"
with
SET REGPATH="HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Benchmark Sims\Falcon BMS 4.38"

Regarding the mission, after TOS was achieved I went hunting north of the FLOT since I had full load of AAMs left. Bagged few bandits with my wingman and we safely got back to homebase. Mission accomplished!

The only issue I had - I couldn't perform the IFF query (with TMS left) - it didn't worked, perhaps I did something wrong during ramp start, or something else have changed?
