Luke Martin is back, this time with host Morris Chen, to try the Top 5 Southeast Asian foods in Taipei! Join in as the duo discovers all the zest and spice this city has to offer!

Taipei, Taiwan is brimming with diverse cuisines from all over the world, something that Canadian YouTuber @LukeMartin Luke Martin knows quite well. In this week’s episode, Luke is joined by actor and TaiwanPlus host Morris Chen to explore popular Southeast Asian flavors, including Malaysian, Indonesian, and Thai food.

Their first stop is an Indonesian restaurant in the Taipei City Mall. Here, Luke and Morris try two legendary dishes called nasi ayam goreng (chicken fried rice) and beef rendang. The two brave the spice while Morris shares his experience hosting the show “FITaiwan,” an opportunity that allowed him to meet several Indonesian students living in Taiwan.

Malaysian food is on the menu at their next stop, where they try out Malaysia’s national dish nasi lemak with fried chicken, as well as a hot pot of satay celup. The restaurant offers a variety of items to dip in the soup, creating a mix of textures and flavors.

Finally, the pair heads to a Thai restaurant, where they share a bowl of khao soi noodles and desserts. After all that delicious food, it’s a wonder Luke and Morris can even walk!

Come see what’s tickling Luke Martin’s taste buds this week on this brand-new episode of Taiwan Top 5!
