"PAMS Radio Jingles" "PAMS Series 32/33 KIOA 940 AM Des Moines, Iowa"

"Here is a rather interesting set of PAMS jingles for Des Moines, IA radio station KIOA 940. A blend of cuts from Series 32, "Swiszle" and Series 33, "Fun Vibrations", but these sound rather "bald" as a lot of the effects that were usually part of the jingles have been left off. On the "Fun Vibrations" cuts, the space where the PAMS vocal group would sing "FUN-N-N-N" is left open, or the station's call letter melody line is played on the Moog keyboard, I'm assuming by musician Whitey Thomas (husband of singer Trella Hart, who, incidentally was the featured female vocalist on Series 32 and 33!)

For whatever reason, KIOA wanted 'em like this. It is fun being able to hear more of the music tracks in areas where normally you'd hear singing. So enjoy 'em! OH, and at the end, you'll notice the next to last jingle is from a much earlier PAMS package..."
