The gorgeous but very shy moorhen is 'fighting' the larger grey geese, all with young ones or expecting them which need lots of feeding. The wildlife has a sixth sense and probably talk about us the humans, as they always run to me when they see me: from moorhen, coots, ducks and squirrels to Grey geese or Canada geese plus the very friendly Egyptian geese.

The other week I was in Regent's park only to be bullied myself by a young mum with her son who came several metres away from me feeding the wildlife now knowing me hence running to me when they see me, with a loaf of bread she just purchased (I suspect she came to this secluded area where I normally go because she saw me from the other side of the water). Although a bit hilarious to see the poor geese coming to me asking for seeds as they had bread around their beaks, it was more upsetting to hear how this mum was threatening me while swearing when I asked her to stop feeding bread the poor wildlife. She then used as an excuse saying that I was filming her son and everyone shook their heads in disbelief but decided not to say anything despite her being so young, and clearly rude, threatening, swearing and un-educated. Unfortunately this is the reality when you come across this kind of people and police takes no action.

What a pity there are some naughty kids who keep jumping in the trees, looking about to fall if lots of rain will uproot further the roots - this will destroy not only the the coots and moorhens' nest but also the poor squirrels being able to come here as they jump from one tree to other across the water.

Life is not easy even in an inner city park like Regent's park packed with day predators like seagulls or crows, even herons and the night predators like owls, foxes etc
