Excise concession will also be provided for high speed diesel blended with 20% bio diesel

Excise duty will have to pay only on 88% and 85% petrol

5% GST will be levied on 12% and 15% ethanol

Tax treatment on final product will be NIL

Finance ministry issues New notification

With new notifications Finance ministry adds E12 and E15 blended Petrol with E10 catagory

It may help Govt to achieve 20% ethanol blending target by 2025
