Autopilot Installation on Bayliner 3488 / Raymarine Evolution / EV200 / Hynautic Reservalve RV55

After years of improving my mechanical skills and know-how from other people's YouTube videos, this is my first attempt at "Giving Back" to the YouTube community.

We purchased Manta Ray in November 2021 and had an epic first season on her, accumulating over 50 sleeps and cruising 1000+, nautical miles up and down the British Columbia Coastline. Much of that cruising was rather "Zig Zagy", however, as it's challenging to keep the boat straight while motoring long distances. Time for an Auto Pilot!

I really wanted to do the installation myself, so I sought advice from many sources and over several days, managed a successful install.

My video covers running the wires throughout the boat, setting up the control head at a different helm station, connecting the hydraulic pump to the existing hydraulic steering lines, and bleeding the air out of the hydraulic steering system which has the "Hynautic Reservalve RV-55 or RV-55P" pressurized steering system.
