Ep. 223 - Ranch Work with a little Kung Fu....from a rookie

The last section of barbed wire fence is being put up. We got another helper out to the ranch. He was a big help with the Stihl chainsaw felling a tree. Brush piles are set and logs are separated. Finish one pasture fence line just means we start again on another section.

Here on Blackacre Ranch we are city folk who moved to the country to start ranching bison (i.e. buffalo). We are a family with 6 kids. Our goals are to homestead the property, grow healthy food, and build good character along the way. We are new to homesteading and don't know much about it, but we are willing to share our struggles and journey as we learn how to homestead together. Think of this as homesteading for beginners where we are the beginners.

We are converting an old rundown church camp into a first generation ranch...profitable ranch that is. It's a whole new life and we are sharing it with you. We are prepping for larger animals such as bison, highland cattle, pigs and chickens.
