Dir. J.A. Bayona discusses the making of Society of the Snow and the importance of Enzo Vogrincic

Watched 'Society of the Snow' for the 2nd time, experiencing again the agony of the story but also coming to the realization of what friendship, unity, and survival overcome humanity.

This film carefully made it equally painful and beautiful to watch. Filmed with the vital support of the survival passengers and the families of those who didn't make it.

I had the opportunity to attend this conversation that followed the screening at the DGA in Los Angeles, CA, and I got to meet and briefly chat with Dir. Juan Antonio Bayona, who just won with this film 11+ Goya awards plus so many more accolades around the world.

MakeUp and Hair Ana Lopez-Puigcerver and SFX MakeUp David Marti were there too, as well as Enzo Vogrincic, who excellent portrayed our beloved Numa.

To our pleasant surprise, also in attendance, there were the two at the time first semester medicine students, survival, Roberto Canessa said Gustavo Zerbino who were some of the key heroes for their 72-day journey.
