Folk songs, Dance & Music during the advent of rains, after the harvest and during the spring are very common in all the parts of India with local and regional variations. The religious faith, occupation, folk beliefs, festival, folk song, dance, music, paintings, handicrafts, costumes are inseparable components of folk life all over India. Western Odisha is no exception. The rich heritage of Western Odisha going back to several centuries has moved through many changes of Culture. Besides Folk Literature, Cultural land marks of Western Odisha include folk songs & music which is popularly known as Sambalpuri songs, music and Dance. The people of Western Odisha usually sing songs, playing Folk Instruments and Dances in Religious, Social and Cultural Festivals Agricultural fests throughout the year. but it is a matter of sad that most of them are deteriorating day by day.
It is a common happening in the modern world that the traditional trends have been affected adversely with the rapid growth of civilization, Rapid modernization, urbanization, Globalization and industrialization so that culture of rural people in a traditional style commonly known as the folk culture loosing its existence and somewhere it is also found in a dying stage. In relevant to above the folk songs belonging to traditional art form is found now inaudible to some extent. In other language it has already lost its past glory due to the presence of indifferences in the mind of present generation.

That’s why, Our only objective to Creating, Making and Promoting folk based Songs, Music and Dance to revive, revitalized and propagate our language, literature and Culture of Western Odisha (Paschim Odisha).
