At the 27th Golden Horse Awards, Brigitte Lin and Maggie Cheung co-presented the Best Leading Actor Awards. To tease the nominees, they paused at the exact moment of winner announcement. The award then went to Tony Cheung Ka-Fai for FAREWELL, CHINA. His loving speech dedicated to his wife remains one of the most touching moment of Golden Horse Awards.

Working in the film industry for over 30 years, Tony remains humble and modest as always even with numerous awards acknowledging his achievement. The confession he made to his wife 23 years ago is indeed a conclusion to himself, "Tony Leung Ka-Fai is just an ordinary married man, that's who I am"
