So… School of Chaos in City of Chaos!

OK. We recently made a post about this plan and a lot of people have been talking about it and brought up some very good questions. Before I go ahead and try to address these questions let me just talk a little about what it means by putting School of Chaos inside of City of Chaos.

In City of Chaos we basically have a big island where you can go anywhere. Currently on the island there’s a city with a bunch of houses and high rises and 1 shopping mall. These are all accessible and you can enter all the buildings. There’s also a bunch of placeholder buildings in the city which will also be accessible eventually, these can be anything ranging from cafe’s, restaurants, warehouses, and even a school, for example, School of Chaos.

So when we say we’re going to be putting School of Chaos into City of Chaos we’re talking about adding a large building onto the island somewhere. Where it’s going to be is TBD, we have not decided on that yet. It could be in the city or it could be far away from the city. People who play City of Chaos will be able to travel to the school and enter it and it will look just like School of Chaos. People who play School of Chaos will not really be affected by this as School of Chaos and City of Chaos are still 2 completely separate games. At least for a while. Whether the 2 games will ever completely be merged into 1 physical game, well that is not something we have made any decisions on at this time.

So in the post we made about this plan we talked about allowing School of Chaos players to copy their accounts to City of Chaos. And this is where a lot of people started to have questions about it. So let’s take a look at the questions:

Is there going to be a data wipe coming to City of Chaos? No there will not be.
Will I lose all my items if I copy my School of Chaos account to City of Chaos? No, the School of Chaos account will be copied to City of Chaos one time, and from then on they are basically separate accounts going their own separate ways. Nothing will happen to the School of Chaos account, a new account will be created in City of Chaos with almost everything identical, with some exceptions which we’ll talk about later.
What if there’s already an account with either the same email or player name in City of Chaos that conflicts with my School of Chaos account? When copying your School of Chaos account we’ll let you choose a new email and player name in City of Chaos so this will not be an issue at all.
Wouldn’t this make the game completely imbalanced with super high levels coming into the city? So this is where some exceptions come into play. When copying your account to City of Chaos if your School of Chaos account is over level 30 we’ll level cap it to level 30.
Since School of Chaos allows VIPs to be converted to Tags, won’t there be a massive influx of tags going into the city? I thought City of Chaos requires us to earn tags? When copying an account to City of Chaos, if you have any tags it will automatically be converted into VIP Tokens. This way people can’t just buy VIPs in School of Chaos and convert them into tags and then transfer it into the City with a new account.
What other changes are going to happen to our account when copied to City of Chaos? City of Chaos does not have the same School of Chaos houses so you will lose your houses and furniture when copying your account to City of Chaos. What we suggest is to sell all your furniture and houses for VIP Tokens before copying your account over then you will at least get the VIPs copied over to City of Chaos.
What about our storage? Do we get to keep what’s in our storage? Yes those will get copied over to the City of Chaos accounts.
What about the fighting system? As the game is actually City of Chaos, the moves are going to be using the City of Chaos fighting system. But we will be adding different moves and tweaking the fighting system based on the feedback we’ve received so far.


So that pretty much wraps up the questions I have seen so far about this plan. Things are not set in stone but at least this is what we’re thinking about at this point.
