Static Lives, Sheffield’s self-proclaimed ‘dance rock alt band’, is set to unleash their debut single, “Rush” the first vinyl release from new ‘S&M’ record label, an imprint created by Sheffield grassroots live music venue ‘Sidney and Matilda’ Since their formation in January 2024, the band has swiftly captivated the UK, selling out their Sheffield show in just a week and leaving London eagerly anticipating their arrival. The excitement doesn’t end there, as Static Lives has secured a spot at Tramlines Festival, sharing the stage with industry giants like Snow Patrol and Human League. Lori, the band’s charismatic singer, describes “Rush” as the euphoria experienced after a spectacular night out, resonating with the lingering beat of the night’s escapades. Static Lives’ musical fusion draws inspiration from Bloc Party, Paramore, Cassyette, and Death From Above 1979, promising something for every music enthusiast.
