Maps of Misterra Review - We've Charted a Path to an Underrated Gem!

In this video we review Maps of Misterra from Sit Down Games! Maps of Misterra is a tile placement euro game where you and your friends take on the role of adventurers exploring the Mysterious island of Misterra!

You'll be scouring the islands depths trying to map it as accurately as possible, placing cards on your personal map, and then placing the matching tiles on the main board, representing getting a rough idea of the lay of the land before confirming exactly what terrain the isle of Misterra consists of.

However, your patrons at home have certain expectations of the island, so the map you actually draw might have little to no relation to what's actually there!

Maps of Misterra uses this tension between the two scoring mechanisms to give you interesting and challenging choices. Do you make your personal map as accurate as possible while manipulating the tiles, or do you just make your map meet your patrons expectations?

And if you can somehow do both... you're on to a winner!
