Budgeting for a baby can be really difficult if this is your first baby. You might be wondering, how much does it actually cost to have a baby? How can I get all of the baby essentials and must haves on a budget? In this video I have outlined all of the items that I use on the daily for my 6 month old son named Judah. All of the priced items are middle range prices but hopefully with some smart shopping, you can spend much less. I talked about using OfferUp as a tool and thrifting to save money, and I mean A LOT of money. Buying second hand has always been something I have done, even before having a baby, but realizing how expensive it actually is to get all of the baby supplies, I knew I needed to really look for discounts. As you can see at the end of this video, the price for all of the items was pretty insane and thats not even getting high end things. All of this to say, you don't have to break the bank on buying your baby items, we spent half of this total cost and were very blessed at our baby shower.
