A matter of shame to Khaki has come to the fore from Baghpat. In fact, the policemen on whom the Yogi government had entrusted the responsibility of protecting the women of the state from the miscreants, now the women constables posted in the same police stations themselves are not safe and they are in fear of the inspectors posted in the police station. The incident is of Khekra police station of the district. An inspector posted in this police station said I love you to the female constable when she asked for leave. Inspector Devendra Kumar Tyagi has been accused of speaking I love you by not one but many women constables posted in the police station. Regarding which the women constables had given a complaint to the SP of the district on December 11 and now SP Neeraj Kumar has suspended Inspector Devendra Kumar Tyagi.

Actually some women constables of Khekra police station had complained against Inspector Devendra Kumar Tyagi. In which he accused the then station in-charge Inspector Devendra Kumar Tyagi of using indecent language. While complaining to SP Neeraj Kumar, the woman constable told that three days ago late in the evening, Inspector Devendra Kumar Tyagi had called her to his office.


Women constables created ruckus in the police station
The woman constable further told that, after reaching the office, the inspector had said I love you while talking obscenely to me. So I (woman constable) protested against it. Making allegations, the woman constable told SP Neeraj Kumar that the inspector asked me to say I love you when I asked for leave. Without delay, the woman constable started a ruckus in the police station.

Inspector Devendra Kumar Tyagi suspended
The rest of the women constables created ruckus in the police station. After the complaint of women policemen, SP Baghpat Neeraj Kumar Jadaun got CO Khekra Vijay Chowdhary to investigate the whole matter. Then when the truth came out, Devendra Kumar Tyagi was suspended. For departmental action, the Chairperson of the Complaints Committee, CO Rekha Preeta, was ordered to take strict action as per the rules.
