Here we are on Wednesday night October 4 1989 at 279 Garland in Memphis,Tennessee at the apartment of DAN HOPPER and room mate GEOFF MARSH - Listening to a few songs - even one of which is a newly then written HOLLYWOOD JOE tune titled - you got it - "GOING BACK TO MEMPHIS" - which JOE wrote half of it on the Amtrak train from LA to Memphis and the other half in Memphis on this very visit - Video taped by friend ERIC WILSON here are left to right - PATRICK on Fender Stratocaster guitar - DAN HOPPER on vocals ,beer and tambourine - GEOFF MARSH on vocals,beer and tambourine and newly found friend HOLLYWOOD JOE on vocals and guitar - A good Elvis "DON'T BE CRUEL" duet from DAN and JOE here - - Then on Friday afternoon October 6 1989 we see 2 of DAN HOPPER'S friend join DAN and HOLLYWOOD JOE on a walk by the iron fence in the Downtown Memphis area by the Mississippi River with friend camera man ERIC WILSON getting into the act - The back to 279 Garland that night of Friday October 6 1989 to hear and see Hollywood Joe serenade the HOPPER Household - with GEOFF MARSH coming by to get a beer and add a few words of wisdom - Good DAN HOPPER and HOLLYWOOD JOE vocal harmony here on the old 1966 Lovin' Spoonful hit song (What a day for a) DAYDREAM
