Shortly before 6AM and ‘Good Morning South Africa,’ overnight relay of Sky News ends and state TV SABC’s TV1 begins with a jingle, some programme highlights for the day, followed by some state-sponsored religious indoctrination brought to you by Pastor Nicholas Mosupi on Friday, July 29, 1994.
