Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS), also known as digital eye strain, is a condition that affects people who spend long hours in front of computer screens. It causes a range of eye and vision problems, including:

Dry, irritated, or red eyes
Blurry vision
Headaches

Neck and shoulder pain
Difficulty focusing
Causes of Computer Vision Syndrome:

Staring at the screen for long periods: This can lead to eye strain and fatigue.
Poor lighting: Glare from overhead lights or windows can strain your eyes.
Incorrect posture: Sitting too close to the screen or at an awkward angle can cause eye and neck strain.
Uncorrected vision problems: If you have uncorrected refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism, it can worsen the symptoms of CVS.
How to Prevent Computer Vision Syndrome:

Follow the 20-20-20 rule: Every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break to look at something 20 feet away.
Adjust your screen: Position your screen at eye level and about an arm's length away.
Blink frequently: Blinking helps to keep your eyes moist.
Use artificial tears: Eye drops can help lubricate your eyes and relieve dryness.
Get regular eye exams: Regular eye exams can help identify and correct any underlying vision problems.
Take breaks: Get up and move around regularly to reduce eye strain.
If you experience persistent symptoms of computer vision syndrome, consult an eye doctor for a comprehensive eye exam and personalized advice.
