When you design parts for 3D printing and these parts must contain threads for existing screw sizes, you have to take the tolerances of your 3D printer into account. A 3D printer never prints perfectly, and always has a small deviation that, in most cases, is almost equal to half of your nozzle opening.

In this video you will learn how to design a thread in Fusion 360 and then change it, so that you can drive standard size screws directly in your print, without having to tap the thread with a tap first.
