There is a tree, which not only produces oxygen but also produces water.
In Andhra Pradesh's Papikonda National Park, there's a unique tree that has been conserved by the Konda Reddy tribe for years.
It's called the Indian laurel tree and is found only in South Asian countries.
During summer, it collects water.
Normally, in a tree, water travels from roots to other parts through xylem tubes and evaporates through leaves.
However, this tree in Andhra Pradesh is different.
It creates a void or hole in this tube, preventing water from evaporating and helping it survive the scorching heat.
