Colleen was a happily married mother of three when she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. She came on a pilgrimage to Medjugorje with her husband John. During their trip Vicka Ivankovic Mijatovic, one of the six visionaries prayed over her. Later that day, upon receiving the Holy Communion at mass, Colleen started regaining feeling in her legs. The same day, she got out of her wheelchair and climbed Apparition Hill.
Upon returning to USA her doctors confirmed that the brain tumor was gone.
