Operating the Beach Express tram! | 🚊 HTM Line 9S | 🇳🇱 The Hague | 4K Tram Cabview | Siemens Avenio

Today we will be driving a special line: the 9S Strandexpress ("Beach Express") tram. This line is only operating on weekend days and holidays when high demand is expected to/from the beach. It is embedded in a regular shift on line 9. Line 9S follows largely the same route as the regular line 9, but stops only at four places: Zwarte Pad, Kurhaus, Centraal Station and Station HS. Between the latter two stops, the line deviates from the normal route and follows line 17 via Weteringplein. This reduces the overall travel time. To turn around after Station HS, we use the tailtrack Parallelweg. Enjoy the video!
