Translation:

Oh MadirAkshi, I have an intolerable mental turmoil, a sadness caused by Madan (Cupid). What shall I do?

Oh girl, with the face of a cool moon, lord PadmanAbhan has no compassion for me now. Hence I am tormented by Kaman’s (Cupid’s) arrows (of love).

Oh, good looking girl, the enticing moon makes all the people in the world rejoice. How come to me alone it gives abundant sorrow? . Has my lover forgotten, all the amorous adventures he enjoyed with me in private, so soon?
