Tech Tip Installation Video: How to Splice a Universal Fiber Cassette | FIBERONE®

In this short video, FIBERONE® will demonstrate splicing a Universal Fiber Cassette – part of the U-Series™ Universal Connectivity System.

The U-Series Universal Connectivity System provides a space-saving and operator friendly solution to high density fiber networks. The patented
Universal Fiber Cassette provides an integrated patch and splice solution
in a compact design. The bend radius-limiting track on the top cover
allows the cassette to telescope forward, providing simplified access to
the adapters and connectors while maintaining network operation and
integrity.

The industry’s first removable front U-Guard secures and protects the
front connectors while managing the subgroup of jumpers separately from those in adjacent cassettes, thus simplifying fiber jumper management and access. The hinged top cover allows for access to the splicing area and fiber storage in the underside of the top cover and bend radius-limiting track in the base. The unit comes complete with factory-installed fiber pigtails, and fusion splice sleeves, which simplifies network installation.
