I recorded this song of mine for a shootout between Ernie Ball Slinky Top Heavy Bottom strings and D'Addario's fairly new NYXL strings. Both sets were 10-52s. I really wanted to keep the conditions of the comparison as controlled as possible, so Despite upgrading my audio Interface to a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 in between recording both versions, I made sure to record both through my trusty Line6 UX2.
