The Spinners - It's A Shame (James Jamerson Bass Cover)

In this video I’m paying tribute to one of my favorite bass players, James Jamerson. This is my take on his famous bass line to It's A Shame by The Spinners. I used a Road Worn 60's Fender Jazz Bass with Ableton Live 9 to record this video. I also used Ableton Live 9 and Native Instruments Guitar Rig 4 to add bass guitar effects.

I'm a professional bass player and bass guitar teacher in Indianapolis, Indiana. On this channel I create videos that demonstrate soulful and funky bass lines as well as various bass grooves and bass techniques.
