A trip to Taiwan is not complete if you have not tried this famous snack sold in most of the night market.
Its a simple blend of sweet potato, sugar and tapioca flour. This snack is Crispy on the outside, Chewy in the inside. Perfect snack for anytime of the day. Here you can try to make it at home.

Ingredients :

100gm Orange Sweet Potato
25gm Sugar
45gm Tapioca Flour

Method :

1. Peel sweet potato and cut into slices.
2. Steam the sweet potato until soft.
3. Mash while its hot and mix in the sugar.
4. Add tapioca flour to form a dough.
5. Roll into a long log and cut about 2cm thick.
6. Roll into a ball and fry at 160c. Half way frying press the dough in the oil and it will double its size.
Continue frying until golden in color.
7. Cooldown and serve if you u can wait that long 😂

Note :

There are different type of sweet potato and each is slightly different so adjust the sugar and tapioca flour to form a smooth dough.
