Ingredients:
1/2 cup split moong dal
2 cups of water to cook the dal
2 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seed
1/4th tsp fenugreek seed
1/4th tsp asafoetida/ hing
2 whole dried red chilli
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chopped ginger
2 chopped green chillies
some curry leaves
2 chopped tomatoes
salt to taste
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp chopped coriader leaves
