UCC News: BJP MP Sushil Modi Batted For Tribal Exemption During The Meeting

A parliament standing committee on law and justice, headed by BJP MP Sushil Modi, held a key meeting on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) with members of the law ministry and the Law Commission. During the meeting, Sushil Modi also pushed for keeping tribals from the Northeast and other regions of the country out of the ambit of UCC.
