Hikkaduwa Beach

වැල්ලේ දේවාලය නොහොත් වැල්ලේ දේවාලය උණවටුනේ වෙරළට ආසන්නයේ පිහිටි කතරගම දෙවියන්ට කැප වූ දේවාලයකි. මෙම පුදබිම බැතිමතුන්ගේ වැදගත් වන්දනා ගමනාන්තයකි. මෙම විහාරස්ථානය ශ්‍රී ලාංකික සම්ප්‍රදායික ගෘහ නිර්මාණ ශිල්පය සහ සංකීර්ණ කැටයම් වලින් සමන්විත වේ. අමුත්තන් බොහෝ විට මෙහි පැමිණෙන්නේ ආශීර්වාද ලබා ගැනීමට සහ සන්සුන් වාතාවරණය භුක්ති විඳීමට ය. දේවමාළිගාවේ වටපිටාව, මුහුදු සුළඟ සහ ස්වභාවික සුන්දරත්වය සමඟ අධ්‍යාත්මික අත්දැකීමක් එක් කරයි.

යුනෙස්කෝ ලෝක උරුම අඩවියක් වන ගාලු කොටුව ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ දකුණු වෙරළ තීරයේ ගාල්ල නගරයේ පිහිටි ඓතිහාසික බලකොටුවකි. 16 වැනි සියවසේදී පෘතුගීසීන් විසින් ඉදිකරන ලද අතර පසුව ලන්දේසීන් විසින් ශක්තිමත් කරන ලද එය යුරෝපීය ගෘහ නිර්මාණ ශිල්පයේ සහ දකුණු ආසියානු සම්ප්‍රදායන්හි විශිෂ්ට සම්මිශ්‍රණයකි. බලකොටුව ඝන ගල් බිත්ති වලින් වටවී ඇති අතර ඉන්දියන් සාගරය දෙස බලයි. ඇතුළත, අමුත්තන්ට ගල් කැට වීදි, යටත් විජිත යුගයේ ගොඩනැගිලි, කෞතුකාගාර, පල්ලි සහ ප්‍රදීපාගාරයක් ගවේෂණය කළ හැකිය. මෙම ප්‍රදේශය එහි කඩ සාප්පු, කැෆේ සහ කලාගාර සඳහා ද ප්‍රසිද්ධය.
