Clifford Robinson : Everyone's Favorite Uncle, Uncle Cliffy

This is a look back on Clifford Robinson's career. Clifford Robinson will be remembered as a versatile big standing at 6’10 playing small forward, power forward, and center. Having a soft touch for a big man that extended to the three-point line. But offense wasn’t the only part of his game as he excelled on defense with his athleticism with the ability to guard one though five. While also being durable throughout hardly missing time with injury having a long-lasting career after spending all four years in college. Where he starred at UCONN being the first guy to help build the program under Calhoun. Before moving onto the NBA joining the Blazers. Playing the 6th man on two Portland teams that made it to the NBA finals. Winning the 6th man of the year one year for his play. Before moving into the starting position picking up an all-star appearance becoming the main guy. Then found himself in phoenix being the go-to guy for a while. Going onto finally be recognized for his defense making all-defensive teams with Phoenix and Detroit. Bouncing around several places all the while making the playoffs wherever he went being a part of winning basketball. Helping him carve out his long career. Which will be looked back on as being a big who played ahead of his time.
