The removal of the Roberto Clemente children’s book from Florida libraries was not a setback, it was a call to action for us to speak out and create our own educational resources so that our voices are heard, and our stories are known.

So for all those parents out there who are raising kind, mindful and inclusive kids, here is a short, animated video about the life of Roberto Clemente that you can show them. This is a production made by three Puerto Rican-owned businesses that came together to collaborate on telling Clemente’s story in lieu of the banned book.
