Todderbert's Tecsun PL-880 AM FM Stereo SW LW SSB Radio Review

This is my review of the Tecsun PL-880. There are many like it, but this one is mine. One of Tecsun's top portable radios, is it worth it?

Features I like about this radio:
Superb audio from the speaker...wow.
FM Reception is good.
AM Reception is excellent.
SW Reception is good.
Buttons have a great feel to them.
Tuner knobs are smooth to use.
3050 memories...never run out.
18650 rechargeable battery.
Light option to always on.
SSB.
FM Stereo.
38" whip

Features that could be added or improved on:
Air Band.
Better tone control, maybe a wheel or digital setting.
More bandwidth options on the MW/LW/& SW.
Temp. Display.
Dual clock feature.
Calendar.

Overall this radio is pricey and I hold back on recommending this yet. If it were $110-120 then it would be a solid buy, probably a mint, like new example off ebay. To the collector, the same advice applies. I paid full price because I was having a hard time finding a nice used example..these radios are popular :)
