Notes from the performer: "I would love for more marimba players to try out this piece if they are into Japanese contemporary works for marimba and want to try something different. The score has some elements of graphic notation and, for me, depicts the journey of a person's life in abstract form. There are no program notes in the score, so a lot of the music is left to the interpretation of the performer."
