We need to rip out our roof trusses in order to span to our new outside wall. We decided to DIY this project vs hiring a Roofing company or a carpenter to do it. Our whole house renovation has grown to something that we have never expected and we cannot afford to higher out!

One of the scariest parts of this project was that our trusses came in wrong size! So we had to make some adjustments in the field to fix it!

Thankfully there are enough videos out there to show us how to do all of these parts! The trick to such big DIY Projects is to tackle it one project at a time.

We used our Makita XGT tools and our SENCO Framing Nailer on this project!
