During the mid-eighties, Ulm purchased a total of fourteen GT4 cars from Stuttgart with which to replace its ageing bogie trailer sets for service on the city's solitary tram route. Dating from 1964, several of them are portrayed outside Hauptbahnhof in this short video conversion from VHS tape. Although ripe for closure, the system clung on and has recently introduced modern low-floor cars on a second route.
