KTM Demo Day | 2017 300 XC-W | Head Over Heels (Literally!!)

I had the chance to attend a KTM demo day and try some of the new 2017 enduro models. All in all it was a great day out and I can't really fault any of the bikes. I decided to skip the commentary and let the bikes do most of the talking for these videos. Apologies in advance for the complete lack of riding skills!

My thoughts on the 300 XC-W:

This bike was definitely the focus of everyone’s attention. The queue for a ride was quite long by the time I got to it, but I was very keen to give it a go and compare it to the 250 XC-W I had loved so much. I had never ridden a 300 before and my first taste on the world’s most popular enduro bike was very sweet indeed. As with the 250 XC-W, it has more than enough power and torque (Spoiler alert: enough to get you into trouble!) Personally, I feel like I don’t need the extra oomph from the 300, but I can see why it has always been and will continue to be such a popular choice. And hopefully now the electric starter will last as long as the bike.
